Business Development Manager

NCE Computer Group is currently searching for a stellar Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage their knowledge of the industry, and industry relationships into a great, long term position that pays extremely well. With over 900 contracts and 60,000 pieces of equipment on contract across the US, you would be able to offer companies a savings of 30% or more on their Data Center maintenance contracts.

Position Summary:

The Business Development Manager reports to the Sales Director and is responsible for the generation and closure of service sales primarily to direct end user customers.

This position will maximize the sale of NCE Field Services through all means necessary (existing contacts and relationships, marketing activities, target lists, etc.) and proactively manage the interface between the customer and NCE.

Responsibilities:

  • Continually and proactively contact prospects to develop business interest and sales opportunities

  • Provide timely and accurate response to customers

  • Attain and exceed set sales targets

  • Generate sales quotes and deliver presentations as necessary

  • Update and maintain Sales Reports

  • Updates CRM (ACT) with all client interaction, new client info, etc.

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to grow business

  • Collaborate with the all departments of NCE to ensure sales success 

  • Represents NCE at trade shows and conferences as needed

  • Travel as needed for sales opportunities

  • Other duties as assigned by management

 The daily responsibilities may revised by Director of Sales and/or NCE management. 

 Requirements:

  • Must demonstrate integrity and professionalism at all times

  • Maintain a professional appearance (i.e. dress code, attitude) to meet customer expectations

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Intermediate to Advanced computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  •  Proven ability to interact well with internal and external customers

  • Ability to think outside the box, and be creative in reaching potential contacts

  • Must exercise sound judgment and assume responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results having an impact on people, costs, and/or quality of service.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years direct sales experience

  • 3 years plus experience in a technical/computer-related market or industry

  • Must be able to work well as a member of a team, and develop customer interest creating business leads

Education:

  • A.S. or B.S. in related field is preferred
