Position:   DIRECTOR OF SALES

NCE Computer Group, a global service provider specializing in Data Center Service and Repair solutions, is looking to strengthen our U.S. Sales Team. Since its inception in 1981, NCE has prided itself in delivering superb customer service covering a vast array of equipment while emerging as a leader in the Data Storage and Server repair industry.

Description:

The Director of Sales position is responsible for the sales expectations and management of the entire Sales Team for NCE Computer Group – US.   The successful candidate will direct and coordinate sales activities with the entire sales team, including development of sales strategies and communication.  This position will be targeted on the overall sales performance of the entire NCE team.  Position will be in the El Cajon, CA Office (San Diego) preferred.

 
Responsibilities:

  • Assumes overall accountability for establishing and implementing an effective sales team, meeting sales goals with budgeted resources, and developing sales strategies.
  • Manage a sales team selling service contracts, refurbished product, new product, and depot repair
  • Counsel, train and guide direct reports to drive tactical plans down through the organization in order to achieve sales goals.  Recruit, hire, set goals, monitor performance and manage performance.
  • Insure that the desired standards of consistency, fairness and honesty are adhered to in all personnel situations.
  • Understand and maintain current knowledge of the company’s products and services.  Keep informed on competitor’s products, sales techniques, pricing and marketing policies.  Utilize resources and perform research to determine sales patterns and strategies.
  • Individually motivate sales team to develop new business.  Evaluate sales team and provide formal and informal training delivery in appropriate areas, including: time management, qualification, selling skills, sales strategy and product knowledge.
  • Meets national sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
  • Maintains and expands customer base by counseling with sales team, builds and maintains relationships with key customers, and identifies new customer opportunities.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications and maintains personal networks.
  • Attaining company assigned sales target and exceeding expectations for his/her own sales expectations
  • Business Travel required
  • Any other responsibility as assigned by VP of Operations or Executive Management.
  • This position reports to the VP of Operations.

Experience                          

  • 10+ years minimum of sales experience (Service, Contract Maintenance, and Depot Repair  in servers & storage arena or third party maintenance) and sales management
  • History of demonstrated ability to manage complex accounts and meet or exceed sales targets
  • Proven sales experience showing having a sales target and exceeding expectations
  • Demonstrated success in managing and coaching sales managers, creating and monitoring annual, monthly, and weekly sales team activities to achieve sales targets
  • Industry experience in Data Storage and Server Environments
  • Self-Motivated and possess the ability to motivate others
  • High planning, organizational, and time management skills required.

Brokerage Sales Representative

Description: Brokerage Sales Representative is responsible for the sale of Used and Refurbished Product.

Brokerage Sales Representative Responsibilities:

  • Continually and proactively contact existing suppliers to maintain existing business and develop others new areas of business interest.
  • Carry out sales as directed
  • Provide management and motivation to both internal and external sales representatives when this becomes applicable.
  • Responsible for achievement of sales targets for the sales department, to include supervising the initiation and completion of sales to new and existing customers
  • Responsible for used and refurbished product sales as directed.
  • Responsible for the accurate posting of inventory for sale on all brokerage websites used by NCE.
  • Responsible for the proper reconciliation of customer consignment accounts on a monthly basis.

Responsibilities not only limited to the duties listed above. The daily responsibilities may change as dictated by VP of Operations or NCE Management.

Scope of Responsibility

To maximize and increase NCE penetration of its customer base and to proactively manage the interface between the customer and NCE.

Communication

Outside the location:
Day to day contact with customers, potential customers and suppliers.

Within the location:
To all departments at all levels

Experience

Would ideally have a minimum of 12 months selling experience in a technical/computer-related market or industry. Be enthusiastic, willing to learn, target orientated, diplomatic, organized and conscientious. Must be able to work well as a member of a team, and develop business in co-operation with and on behalf of the team.

Position:  Brand Marketing Manager


Responsibilities for this marketing role:

  • Research and analyze current brand and marketing efforts and expand efforts accordingly
  • Create and spearhead the implementation of an expanded marketing awareness plan nationally
  • Function as the centralized contact for all brand activities for the organization
  • Drive opportunities to increase revenue and decrease costs of marketing

Job Requirements:

  • Two to Three years of experience in marketing with at least two years experience in brand management, advertising or direct response marketing
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, business or related field
  • Broad knowledge of marketing principles and the ability to develop and implement full-cycle branding plans
  • Experience in brand management covering nationwide territories  
  • Superior written and oral communication skills, along with successful project management experience

Hours:  M-F, 7am - 4pm; weekends may be required pending branding activities
