The AssuredSAN product family from Dot Hill offers supreme flexibility built on over 25 years heritage supplying networked RAID storage solutions to A-brand vendors worldwide. The Dot Hill AssuredSAN 2000 & 3000 Series offer a choice of Fibre Channel, iSCSI or SAS host interface with the ability to freely mix SAS, SATA and SSD drives within each drive chassis. Both 3.5” and 2.5” drive technologies are offered in a common 2 rack-unit (2U) footprint, with a common and simple to use web based interface supporting the entire range.
The Dot Hill AssuredSAN 2000 Series provides an entry point into the world of centralised networked RAID storage with a choice of 4Gb Fibre Channel (FC), 1Gb iSCSI or 3Gb SAS host connectivity. Systems are available with a choice of 12 3.5” or 24 2.5” drives per chassis. Data management is provided through AssuredSnap™ data snapshot and AssuredCopy™ volume copy services which can be deployed to aid productivity, or contribute to a comprehensive disaster recovery strategy.
The AssuredSAN 3000 Series provides blistering performance with 8Gb Fibre Channel host connectivity coupled to true 6Gb SAS back-plane and drive support. In addition, the 3000 Series delivers the first 8Gb FC with 1Gb iSCSI hybrid controller for the entry storage market. The AssuredSAN 3000 Series also includes Dot Hill’s AssuredRemote™ remote asynchronous data replication service which allows simple array based remote replication to be enabled through a simple four step wizard – straight out of the box. AssuredRemote delivers a set-and-forget disaster recovery solution at a price point never before accessible to the small to medium enterprise.
